Limelight (2001-2003)

Nike > Every year Nike stages a 10K running event that Limelight manages every aspect of. I was on the finish line helping to make sure every single runner received their medals, as well as providing general support to the team on the day. I also got to meet Pat Sharp and talk about his mullet with him.

Swimathon > Macmillan Cancer Relief benefitted from the millions of pounds raised through the annual Swimathon event, so it was great to be part of it. With a busy telephone hotline and a pretty hardcore project management database, it really developed my phone and project management skills.

BT > BT Community Connections was a community scheme from BT that involved awarding internet-ready PCs to a selection of amazingly deserving charities around the UK. I helped stage photocalls with all the winners and showcase the scheme.

London Youth Games > Children from every single London borough compete every year at Crystal Palace in a number of different sports events. One year the Queen attended and I was there to help stage a photocall with her to mark the Golden Jubilee. I could have touched her.
